GREEN BAY – The Packers used their second of four seventh-round picks on Saturday to add another big man to the defensive line.
Miami's Jonathan Ford was Green Bay's selection at No. 234 overall, the extra pick the Packers acquired in the trade down with Denver during the fifth round.
A native of Florida (Fort Lauderdale), Ford is a massive interior defensive lineman at 6-foot-5 and 333 pounds. He played in 50 games over five years, with 30 starts.
As a starter in each of the last three seasons, his tackle total was in the teens, and he had three career sacks, all in 2019. He was credited with a total of eight tackles for loss in his career.
