Meet the Nominees

Larry Kittoe â Ashwaubenon, WI
We are nominating someone we know is a "Hall of Fame Packer Fan"! The commitment, excellence, integrity, courage, and respect as a grandpa, dad, son, brother, uncle, friend, veteran, and #1 Packer Fan is exactly who Larry Kittoe is! Simply put, Larry excels at demonstrating a commitment to the
packers as a fan. He lives, eats, and breaths the PACKERS! Larry's high energy and love for the Packers is contagious! The goal he set at a young age to retire in Green Bay to live in the community supporting
his team was accomplished!
He lives his best life surrounded by his passion for the Packers, literally surrounded! Starting with the big "G" in his front lawns, from Alaska to Wisconsin, to show his love and dedication! His home boasts #1 Packer Fan from the exterior Packer green shutters to the green and gold WELCOME sign! Entering his home there is no doubt, whom his team pride belongs to! Relaxing on the couch surrounded by the yard markers behind, feeling as if you are on the actual field with the historic memorabilia of the Packers! The mural on the dining room wall makes it feel like you are seated in a box seat overlooking the stadium while eating. Walking down the "G" green and gold brick hallway to the bathroom and bedrooms, every room decked out in Green Bay Packers is an understatement. From a homemade quilt to closets full of green/gold Packer attire, Larry supports his Packers daily!
Larry is a man of integrity! Being able to share his love of the Packers with other fans exhilarates Larry! His excitement to provide a dream come true commitment ceremony by Lambeau for his nephew and his girlfriend with special needs was a blessing. Opening his home to others throughout the year and sharing stories about the Packers is a constant reminder of respect to his team!
It goes without saying the courage it takes to serve our great country to allow others their freedoms. A veteran of the Air Force, he is humble about his service. A bit of courage, fun, laugher, and some perseverance for his loyalty to his team is shown, win or lose, anywhere and everywhere, no matter what!
Who needs faces of a Hall of Fame Fan when you can have one face, Larry, with his many Green Bay Packer looks! Suits to coordinate with the team for away and home games are necessary, he even specially designs suits in a splatter paint room to get just the right look in support of his team! Did someone say bring on the wizard for some magic with all the Packer fans? A homemade magician cloak and hat it is! Being dressed to the "G" is just what he does as a gesture of pure spirit and fun for the love of his team, the Green Bay Packers!
Larry Kittoe exemplifies the qualities of a true Hall of Fame Packer Fan!

Kris Burich â Colorado Springs, CO
When Kris was diagnosed with endometrial cancer this May, her first thought was, 'can I go to my Packer games this year?'. Waiting 31 years for season tickets, she hasn't missed many Gold games in the past 10 years. Living in Colorado doesn't stop her either! Kris started chemo and radiation therapy and immediately lost her hair. When her oncologist allowed her to travel to attend the first game this year, she instantly ordered a green wig to wear to the game. Our daughter, Molly, bought a matching wig! Nothing stops her! She's very proud of her GO PAK Colorado license plate! Whenever we moved around the country, her first task was to notify the Packer Ticket Office. Then she did all the other tasks of moving! Kris has passed her love of the Packers to the next two generations in our family. She loves to take family to the games. She was instrumental in creating a Packer-themed basement. When doing estate planning, she valued the Gold tickets ahead of her jewelry! Being selected for the Fan HOF would be a dream come true for this lifelong Packer fan!

Jeff Padon â Severn, MD
Jeff Padon, the Quintessential Deaf Packers Super Fan Nominated by Trudy Suggs, Fellow Shareholder and Cheesehead Patiently Waiting for Season Tickets
When you meet Jeff Padon, you immediately notice his Midwestern and boyish looks, his fluent sign language, and his long-standing devotion to the Green Bay Packers team. Often seen wearing a customized Packers jersey with the number "27" in American Sign Language and a magnificent
Cheesehead hat that boasts fingerspelled letters, Jeff is known everywhere as a Green Bay Packers Super Fan. Ask anyone about who the best Deaf person is to talk about the Packers, and everyone points to Jeff.
Jeff now lives in Maryland yet attends as many Packers games as possible with his season tickets, especially if the Packers play in Baltimore or Washington, DC. He organizes tailgating parties with other Deaf fans, regardless of what team they root for, to promote a unified sense of love for the game.
A Beloit, Wis., native, Jeff's father introduced him to the Packers during the 1971 season. Since then, Jeff has set out on a campaign to support the Packers in every possible way. Just take a look at some of his ties to the Packers:
- After 23 years of waiting, became a gold package season ticket holder in 2013.
- Has been a shareholder since 1998.
- Owns all of the Packer yearbooks from 1960 to the present, and can rattle off information from every single one.
- Placed his family name on a brick at Lambeau Field, by Section 3C.
- Was selected the Die-hard Packer Fan of the Month in July 2016; and his face is on a DHPF banner at Lot 1.
- Co-chaired the second Deaf Packers Festival in Green Bay in August 2023.
- Helps organize weekly gatherings at restaurants for Maryland Cheeseheads, including Deaf fans, by ensuring all televisions are captioned at the location.
- Has appeared on television many times as a dedicated Green Bay fan, most memorably when a fellow fan asked him how to sign "BEARS SUCK." That clip quickly went viral on social media to Packer fans' delight everywhere.
- Was approached by LeRoy Butler at the Green & Gold Gala when chatting with his wife in ASL. LeRoy fingerspelled his name; this began a beloved friendship between the two fellas.
While these are impressive achievements, what is even more impressive is Jeff's devout commitment to the Packers team. It clearly emerged from the same reason so many people around the world are Cheeseheads: a love of the team's ideology, community, and values. Jeff is the ultimate Green Bay Packers super fan who does everything he can to ensure that the Deaf community shares his love of the game, especially when green and gold players are on the field.

Terry Sportsman â Elgin, IL
Terry Sportsman has been a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan despite being born and raised in Illinois. One of his 1st memories is watching the Packers on December 31st, 1967, when he was 6 years old. His excitement overcame him and he turned the TV off before Bart Starr took the snap and snuck into the end zone to defeat the Cowboys in the Ice Bowl. The rest, as they would say, is his-to-ry.
Since then Terry has been a devoted Packers fan. He raised 3 children, 2 of which followed him to the Green-and-Gold. He also has 5 grandchildren who all are Packer Backers. Terry was also able to convert several of his students in his over 30-year career as a gym teacher to be Packers fans. He started wearing his Brett Favre Jersey to school every Friday during football season in the mid 90's.
Terry has been fortunate enough to attend many Packers games over the years. In 2008 he watched Brett Favre's last game as a Packer when they lost to the Giants in the NFC Championship game. In 2011 he traveled to Dallas and got to experience the exhilaration of seeing his lifelong favorite team, led by Aaron Rodgers, win a Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He tries to go to at least one game every season, but occasionally sneaks in a second.
Terry has been there to create memories for his family, too. He's taken all his children, and most of his grandchildren to Packers games. He likes to blast "The Bears Still Suck" on weeks it was Green Bay against Chicago on his car radio. He's gotten to watch some of his grandkids participate in the
Packers tradition of carrying helmets for the players as they ride the kids bikes.
Outside of being a Packers fan Terry has always been a busy, hardworking man. He got married at the age of 20 and just recently celebrated 43 years of marriage. Terry owned a successful small business for 23 years, during which time he graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Physical Education. After getting a job as a teacher he still put in significant time at his business and coached all 3 of his kids in several sports. He was also a part of the pioneer age of Fantasy Football, joining a league in 1983, which he won several championships.
Terry has lived a fulfilling life. His family has always come 1st to him, but not far behind the Packers have been there. He's been through the ups-and-downs that NFL football fandom presents each year, but since his early childhood he's never wavered in his support of the Packers. He is a Hall of Fame caliber fan.

Nancy Beaulieu â Manitowoc, WI
I am nominating my friend Nancy because she is the Ultimate GB Packer fan! Nancy is also known as the "Cookie Lady" to the players. She meets the rookies the first day of training camp with Energy Ball cookies because she knows they want to eat healthy. The veteran players get their favorites like Romeo Dobbs likes Snickerdoodles. When Donald Driver comes to Lambeau she makes him the DD Bars he loves. Nancy is a stockholder. The inside of her home is decorated year-round in Packer memorabilia,
most of which is autographed. She attends several autograph appearances at local businesses. Nancy attends training camp every summer and has made friends from all across the United States and other countries that she keeps in touch with. She attends one Packer show a week and tailgates on home game day even though she doesn't have a ticket to the game. Then she meets friends at a local bar to watch the game with other fans. She follows the players as well as their family members on social media. She can tell you the players' wives, girlfriends, kids and parents names. She has been to dinner with Aaron Jones' family. Donald Driver can pick her out in a crowd as can most of the Packer players. Nobody cheers harder than Nancy. Nancy cares for the players themselves-not just the wins and losses. She is truly a Packer Backer!

Ken Stofen â Racine, WI
The first time I met Ken Stofen, I immediately knew that he was a loyal Green Bay Packer fan. Thirty-plus years later, Ken Stofen is now my brother-in-law and his loyal enthusiasm for the Packers has never wavered -- and it never will.
Ken grew up in Racine, Wis. He played middle linebacker for William Horlick High School until an ACL injury ended his football career.
As a high school senior, Sunday, December 31, 1967, played a frigid role in Ken's journey as a Packers fan. He attended the Ice Bowl and proudly remembers storming the field after the Packers historic victory. His loyal support was most certainly in evidence that day.
After earning his degree at Carthage College in Kenosha, Ken enlisted in the Marines and served as a supply officer during the Vietnam War. In addition to making sure he consistently provided his fellow Marines with supplies to make their lives a little bit closer to comfortable, Ken flew several helicopter missions in-country (unbeknownst to his C.O.). He wanted to know exactly what his fellow Marines were facing.
He retired from the Marines as a Lt. Col. and remains to this day a loyal
Marine -- Semper Fi.
When Ken's godson was deployed to Iraq in the early 2000s, Ken and his wife, Cathy, opened their home to Bryan's wife and their infant daughter until Bryan returned home -- which he did, safely. Loyalty, dedication, and putting others first are hallmarks of Ken and Cathy Stofen.
As a Packers fan, Ken and his family have been season-ticket holders for decades. In the many, many discussions Ken and I have had over the years, he is ALWAYS -- win or lose -- positive about the Packers. Loyalty and dedication.
Ken's son grew up a Packers fan (of course) and is now continuing the legacy raising a family in Minneapolis of all places. Ken's young grandsons and granddaughter proudly wear their Green Bay Packers gear throughout the land of the Vikings.
From my perspective, Ken Stofen is a Green Bay Packers Fan Hall of Fame. He has "Backed the Pack" for his entire life. His loyalty and dedication to the team are always on display. I proudly nominate my brother-in-law Ken Stofen for the Green Bay Packers Fan Hall of Fame. John Mielke, Sturgeon Bay, WI

Angela Kuemmel â Cleveland, OH
We are honored to nominate Angela Kuemmel for the Packers Fan Hall of Fame. When Angela has a passion, she goes above and beyond in her commitment - and the Packers are a main passion in her life! Angela was born and raised in Waukesha, WI, in a family that embraced the green and gold thanks to the influence of her dad and grandpa. She left Wisconsin for college; then lived in numerous places as she pursued psychology training but has never wavered in her dedication to the Packers. Angela is notorious for being challenging to get a hold of and slow to respond to messages. However, for well over a decade her voicemail message stated: "any calls related to the Green Bay Packers will be prioritized and promptly returned!" She bought stock in the team in 2011 and proudly sports her work ID on her Green and Gold NFL Owner lanyard.
Despite living outside of Wisconsin for over 20 years, she has continued to attend as many games as possible. She has traveled to Miami, Tampa, Washington DC, Detroit, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh, as well as her current city Cleveland to cheer the team on the road. She saw them play in Atlanta on the route to the Superbowl XLV Victory. She once flew home from Florida for the 2008 NFC Championship Game but was unexpectedly delayed overnight in Atlanta when a snowstorm hit. Determined not to miss Favre's possible last home game; she tirelessly advocated to be rescheduled on the soonest possible flight to make it home for game time. She was picked up at the airport in Milwaukee by family members â who brought her winter Lambeau Game Day clothing - and arrived in Green Bay just in time for kick-off. She was also so proud to be in attendance with so many Packers fans the night Favre was inducted in Canton.
Angela's most impressive demonstration of Packer commitment was at her wedding this year in Cleveland, OH. She convinced her husband, John, and family members to construct a Lambeau Leap Experience at her wedding reception (cheeseheads and Go Pack Go signs were included while the DJ played Bang on the Drum All Day amidst green and gold uplights); even accessible to guests in wheelchairs. Instead of the traditional "clinking of glasses" to encourage a bride & groom to kiss, attendees had to perform a Lambeau Leap to get John & Angela to kiss. The Leap was such a hit, there was a long line of wedding guests, including Bears, Bengals, Ravens, Patriots, and Browns fans who took photos with the bride and groom while simulating their first Lambeau Leap. Angela fondly remembers her wedding night as an evening of many Packers Touchdown celebrations in which wedding guests got to experience a bit of the magic of hallowed Lambeau Field.
Angela is a dedicated Packers Fan who creatively shows her support from her voicemail to her wedding; she a perfect candidate for the Packers Fan Hall of Fame.

Lori Mueller â Eland, WI
My sister is the most involved Packer fan, I have ever known.
1.She has taught a summer school class for elementary students called "Packermania" for several years. She thinks one key part of being a Packers fan, is growing more Packer fans, so the legacy and history of the Packers will continue to thrive and flourish. The Inside Lambeau Show featured her class, and it was broadcast on statewide tv. Mary Jane Sorgel, the Packers' original Golden Girl, was a guest in that broadcast, and got to see her own presentation The class culminates in "The Packer Wax Museum," where students research, write a speech in the first person, and stand in "costume" for their chosen Packer subject in front of a backdrop they created, and "come to life" when a visitor approaches them and give their speech.
- She helped successfully campaign for Jerry Kramer's induction to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame, with petitions, t-shirts, producing a video, and many of her students wrote the Pro Football Hall Of Fame advocating for Mr. Kramer's induction. Her students sang a Hall Of Fame song for Jerry in the video, and they even had a chance to sing it to him in person at Lambeau Field on Draft Day! She has promoted his recent book, "Run To Win My Packers Life From Lombardi To Canton," and his favorite causes, such as the Boys and Girls Club of Sturgeon Bay, veterans programs and the National Child ID Program of which 975,000 identification kits were sent out across Wisconsin.
- As a teacher, she has been awarded multiple state and national honors. In her award of the Kohl Fellowship, her Packer class was noted. It was likely a factor in her receiving the fellowship.
- She brought in Chester Marcol, A Packer Hall Of Fame kicker. He spoke to the students about his life and overcoming obstacles. She spoke with Chester afterwards, he decided write a book, "Alive and Kicking: My Journey Through Football, Addiction, and Life." She put him in contact with Gary D'Amato, who had written an article featuring Chester, and they worked together to author the book. She and her school are mentioned in the introduction.
- She is very proud caretaker of her Packers collection. She is honored to have donated some of these pieces for various charitable causes. She loves to donate Packer game tickets to those who might otherwise not be able to attend a Packer game.
- For several years, she has helped her students to participate in a reading incentive program through the Packers, called The Tundra Tales.
- She has nominated other Packer fans to the Packer Fan Hall Of Fame, one of them being John Breske, who was inducted to the Packer Fan Hall of Fame. She is not the only deserving nominee, so she will continue to nominate the many Packer fans who love America's Team, the Green Bay Packers!

Bruce Roehsner â Menomonee Falls, WI
In section 9B outside Lambeau field a brick reads, "Bruce Roehsner Bleeds Green & Gold".
My dad is known for wearing his custom 1920's football jerseys and pants complete with a leather helmet that he made himself. He can be found visiting with fans in the Atrium and around the parking
lots on game weekends. He enjoys taking scores of photos with fans, proudly showing the World
Championship Belt made famous during Super Bowl XLV along with his Super Bowl rings. Some
fans take their yearly photo and use it as their Christmas card. He constructed his Vintage VW Beetle teardrop camper painted to resemble a Packer helmet that he brings to the home games. Complete
with a heater for those cold December games. He retired from the printing trade after 37 years. One of his first jobs was printing the Packer Yearbook back in the late 60's at Inland Press in Milwaukee. His image has been seen on the Today Show, The Tonight Show, E Channel, ESPN Magazine, Miller Lite Beer commercial, and the 60 Yard Line Movie, to name a few. He is a cancer survivor and retired Air Force Veteran. Since his retirement he enjoys attending Packer events and spending time with his five granddaughters. It would be a great honor to have my dad inducted into the Green Bay Packer Fan Hall of Fame.

Dan "Bogie" Bogenschuetz
Dan is from Sheboygan, Wisconsin and is a lifelong Packers fan. Dan grew up loving the Packers! His parents were season ticket holders and attended the famous "Ice Bowl" game, where his mom got frostbitten toes. His home office is filled with Green Bay Packers memorabilia, including autographed MVP helmets, framed jerseys, footballs, and more. Even the carpeting is like the first Packers Pro Shop at Lambeau Field.
Through the years, Dan has had the privilege of meeting Mark Murphy, Ted Thompson, Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, Dave Robinson, Edgar Bennett, Ty Detmer, LeRoy Butler, to name a few. Dan has been a Packer's Shareholder since 2011 and has attended every meeting since.
For 36 years, Dan has shared his love for the team by organizing group trips to Packers games. He began taking family and friends on motorcoaches to Green Bay in 1987. A few years later he was organizing motor coach trips to both home and away games, taking as many as 320 people. They took trips to Minneapolis, Detroit, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago, and more. Around the year 2000, Dan began to organize flights, where he takes between 56 and 110 people to games. He generally takes groups to three or four games each year, meaning he has taken thousands of Packers fans to games. Dan and his fellow Packers Backers have traveled to 26 different cities! There are only seven stadiums
he has not been to (three are new). In 2022, Dan took a group of eight to London for the Packers/Giants game.
Dan's commitment to the Packers extends beyond the game. In 2016, Dan and his wife attended Brett Favre's induction into the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. They attended the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremonies for Charles Woodson and Jordy Nelson. Dan had the ultimate experience of attending the Super Bowl XXXII game in San Diego (even though they did not win)! Dan also traveled to New Orleans and Dallas when the Packers were in the Super Bowl there to enjoy the overall fan experience.
In 2022, Dan was instrumental in arranging for the Coca-Cola Collectors Club National Convention to be held in Green Bay. Dan set up tours of Lambeau Field, the Hall of Fame, and the City of Green Bay for the group, always promoting his beloved Packers.
What began 36 years ago with relatives and close friends, grew into a family of fellow fans far exceeding Dan's inner circle. He does this as a hobby because he enjoys it so much.
His energy, his effort, and his commitment enabled him to spread the thrill of attending the Green Bay Packers games with so many fellow die-hard Packer fans!
We know Dan would be extremely honored and humbled to be inducted
into the Green Bay Packer Fan Hall of Fame.
Respectfully submitted,
Jami Yurk & Dean Klein
