With Green Bay not owning a first-round pick in the upcoming draft, this year's Prospect Primer series will take a position-by-position look at players projected as Day 2 selections (Rounds 2-3) potentially available to the Packers, who have the No. 52 and 84 overall selections on the second day of the draft.

Here's a handful of defensive ends:

T.J. Parker, Clemson

Ht/Wt: 6-4, 263

News & notes: Alabama native originally committed to Penn State but played three years at Clemson, making a strong first impression with Freshman All-America honors from various outlets in 2023, posting 5½ sacks among 12½ tackles for loss, the latter a school freshman record … Put together his best season in 2024 with 11 sacks among 19½ tackles for loss, plus a single-season school record six forced fumbles … Likely a surefire first-round pick had he been eligible for last year's draft, but could fall to the second round now after a less productive but still solid 2025 season, with five sacks among 9½ tackles for loss, plus three fumble recoveries … Named second-team All-ACC in '24 and honorable mention in '25 … Powerful edge defender who has earned praise for his all-around abilities against the run and rushing the passer … Impressive athlete, clocking a 4.68-second 40 at the combine, with a 34-inch vertical and 10-foot broad jump … Is married to a former Clemson volleyball player … Given first name is Tomarrion (tuh-MARR-ee-ahn).

Gabe Jacas, Illinois

Ht/Wt: 6-4, 260

News & notes: Florida native played in 50 games over four years at Illinois, culminating in two strong seasons to finish his college career … In 2024, had eight sacks among 13 TFLs to earn third-team All-Big Ten honors, and followed up as team captain in 2025 with 11 sacks among 13½ TFLs for second-team recognition, with three forced fumbles each season … The 11 sacks led the Big Ten in the regular season last year … Finished second on the school's all-time sack list with 27 … NFL draft analyst Lance Zierlein considers him an edge defender who can play with a hand down or in stand-up mode but needs to improve against the run … Reportedly took some interior pass-rush reps during a strong Senior Bowl week … Also was a state champion wrestler in high school … Last name is pronounced ACK-us.

LT Overton, Alabama

Ht/Wt: 6-3, 274

News & notes: After starting just four games in two years at Texas A&M as a highly regarded recruit and 17-year-old early enrollee, transferred to Alabama and started 16 contests over the last two seasons … During 2024-25 campaigns, racked up 84 tackles, including six sacks among nine TFLs … Lauded for his size and strength but his best position at the next level is debatable … Possibility remains he could bulk up to play inside in the NFL rather than on the edge, but nothing certain yet … Georgia native was a high school All-American and a consensus five-star, top-10 prospect by recruiting services … Projected as a third-round draft pick who needs to add to a power-oriented game … Given first name is Lebbeus.

Zion Young, Missouri

Ht/Wt: 6-6, 262

News & notes: Georgia native and part-time starter for two years at Michigan State transferred to Missouri for his final two years and broke out in 2025 with 6½ sacks among 16½ TFLs to earn second-team All-SEC recognition … Had 53 pressures, according to PFF, which ranked second among SEC edge rushers, one behind Texas' Colin Simmons … Known for a big personality and served as team captain last season, playing in Missouri's bowl game rather than sitting out like many draft prospects … Made his biggest strides in college as a run defender with upside remaining as a pass rusher … Capped a strong week at the Senior Bowl with defensive MVP honors in the American-National game … Could be drafted late in the first round but does have a couple off-field incidents from college, first as a freshman at Michigan State, being involved in a fight in the tunnel after the game against Michigan, and then last December at Missouri, being arrested for DWI.
