2026 NFL Draft: Day 3 prospects at quarterback

Big-time production, but will it translate?

With Green Bay not owning a first-round pick in the upcoming draft, this year's Prospect Primer series is taking take a position-by-position look at players projected to be available to the Packers later in the draft.

Here's a trio of Day 3 quarterbacks:

Carson Beck, Miami

Ht/Wt: 6-5, 233

News & notes: After five years at Georgia, the last two as the starting QB, Jacksonville native returned to his home state to finish his college career at Miami … Led the Hurricanes to the CFP national championship game in 2025, completing 72.4% of his passes for 3,813 yards and career-high 30 TDs in 16 games … Second time in the last three years he topped 70% for a completion rate, also doing so in 2023 at Georgia while throwing for a career-best 3,941 yards in 14 games … Has desired size for an NFL QB prospect and has played in numerous high-stakes, ultra-competitive games, but has thrown 12 INTs each of the last two years and had elbow surgery in between … Evaluated by some as a Day 2 pick but could be on the board Day 3 … Also a baseball pitching star in high school.

Cade Klubnik, Clemson

Ht/Wt: 6-2, 207

News & notes: Spent entire college career at Clemson, the last three years as starting QB, finishing as team captain … Had his best season statistically in 2024, throwing for 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns against just six interceptions in 14 games … Also rushed for 463 yards and seven TDs that year … Was slowed by injuries in 2025 and production dropped … All told in his college career, completed 64% of his passes for 10,123 yards with 73 TDs and 24 INTs … Passing yards rank third in school history and TD passes rank fourth, while finishing as Clemson record holder in completions (916) and pass attempts (1,432) … For all the athletic traits and dual-threat nature of his game, knocked most for lack of consistency … Also a 400-meter state champion in track in high school in Texas.

Sawyer Robertson, Baylor

Ht/Wt: 6-4, 216

News & notes: After two years at Mississippi State, Texas native returned to his home state for three years at Baylor, the last two as starting QB … In 2025, completed 304-of-504 passes (60.3%) for 3,681 yards and 31 TDs along with 12 INTs in 12 games … Earned second-team All-Big 12 honors, was named Big 12 scholar-athlete of the year, and was a finalist for the Campbell Trophy ("Academic Heisman") … Was more efficient statistically in 2024, completing 62.2% of passes with a TD-INT ratio of 28-8, but attempted 11 passes per game more the following year … Also played baseball in high school … Father was a first-round draft pick of the Expos in the 1990 MLB amateur draft, and is cousins with NFL QB Jarrett Stidham, who also played QB at Baylor.
