The Green Bay Packers Foundation and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation are again partnering to host Give BIG Green Bay, from noon February 21 until noon February 22, 2023. The sixth annual giving day will highlight nonprofit organizations that are working to improve life in our community.

Give BIG Green Bay is an innovative program that provides a way for everyone to learn more about the work of participating nonprofits and donate, at any level, to the causes they champion. Last February, more than $2.47 million was raised in 24 hours through the generosity of 4,391 donors. More than 44% of these donors self-identified as a new contributor to an organization they supported.

The 45 nonprofits selected to participate in Give BIG Green Bay 2023 represent a diverse cross-section of organizations serving Brown County. They vary in size and range from established organizations with wide-ranging services to newer organizations focused on emerging needs. The event provides a snapshot of the role nonprofits play in supporting critical needs and creating a thriving community, year-round.

"Nonprofit organizations play an important role across our community," said Dennis Buehler, President and CEO of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. "This is a day to build a greater understanding of their impact, make connections, and celebrate the critical work that transforms lives."

This year, the Green Bay Packers Foundation is again providing a $250,000 grant to create a matching pool of funds to encourage everyone to donate, at any level, to causes they care about. Additionally, thanks to other generous donors, there will be another $250,000 of matching funds available – for a total match of $500,000. Thanks to these funding partners, every dollar donated during the 24 hours of Give BIG Green Bay 2023 will go further than ever before to support the important work of nonprofits to enhance the quality of life in our community.

"We're excited to again be part of Give BIG Green Bay and engage with our community in such an impactful way," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "This unique giving day has created an extraordinary platform for Brown County nonprofits to raise funds for their critical work and awareness for their missions. We're proud to be involved and we encourage our fans both locally and around the world to learn more and donate at any level."

The combined five-year total of this unique effort is nearly $8 million of support for local nonprofits. On February 21 to February 22, from noon to noon, people everywhere can visit giveBIGgreenbay.org to donate and make a BIG difference in our community.
