Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones this week is donating 1,025 pairs of shoes to Wisconsin students and Boys & Girls Club members, as part of his "Yards for Shoes" campaign, presented by Cousins Subs®, from the 2022 season.

The recipients receiving shoes this week include kids at 15 different schools and Boys & Girls Clubs, including Audubon Technology & Communication Center Middle and High School in Milwaukee, which received an in-person visit from Jones on Wednesday to distribute 85 pairs of shoes.

"I love this campaign," said Jones. "Seeing the smiling faces on these kids every year is really touching. It feels great to give back to the Wisconsin community and support these kids."

Through the program, for every rushing yard he gained, Jones and his A&A All The Way Foundation pledged to donate a pair of shoes to a child who needs them, up to 1,000 pairs. He gained more than 1,000 rushing yards during the 2022 season, and Packers fans chipped in to fund an additional 25 pairs of shoes, totaling 1,025 pairs of donated shoes. Cousins Subs® is also providing custom socks and stickers with every pair of shoes.

The A&A All The Way Foundation is distributing the remaining pairs of shoes to 14 other locations across Green Bay and Milwaukee, including Green Bay schools Howe, Fort Howard, Lincoln, Tank and Nicolet Elementary Schools; Washington and Franklin Middle Schools; Green Bay West High School and Dr. Rosa Minoka-Hill School. Milwaukee locations include Audubon Technology & Communication Center Middle and High School, Bayview Middle and High School, Bradley Tech High School, North Division High School, Barack Obama School of Career and Technical Education, and Washington High School.

Jones has been a constant presence in the community dating back to his time in high school and college, and especially since coming to Green Bay in 2017. In his six years with the Packers, Jones has jumped at every opportunity to take part in community events and has been nominated for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for the last two seasons.

He has taken his community involvement to the next level in recent years by building upon the work of his foundation, the A&A All the Way Foundation, with his twin brother, Alvin. The A&A All the Way Foundation is dedicated to making an impact in the lives of children through charitable giving and action and executes events that inspire, educate and promote unity and diversity across multiple communities. The Foundation helps address children's basic needs, providing opportunities for recreation and fitness, and supporting children in military families.
