Quarterback Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts and running back Ahman Green of the Green Bay Packers are the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for games played on October 5-6, the NFL announced Thursday.

Manning completed 34 of 47 pass attempts for 386 yards and two touchdowns in the Colts' 38-35 overtime win over Tampa Bay. He led the Colts on four fourth-quarter touchdown drives and the game-winning drive in overtime as he recorded a passer rating of 101.9.

Green rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries in the Packers' 35-13 win over Seattle. Both of Green's touchdowns came in the second quarter with the outcome still in doubt, giving Green Bay leads of 14-7 and 21-10.

Manning and Green, who are both consecutive-week winners, were selected from among finalists in air and ground categories. The other FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week finalists were San Diego Chargers quarterback Drew Brees, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich, and Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair, while Carolina Panthers running back Stephen Davis and Denver Broncos running back Clinton Portis were the other finalists for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.
