Green Bay running back Ahman Green and Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb and were named the Monday Night Football SNICKERS(r) HUNGRIEST PLAYERS(tm) for Week Ten following the Eagles 17-14 comeback win against the Packers last night at Lambeau Field.
For Green it marks his second Hungriest Player award this season. The selections were made by John Madden and the other members of the Monday Night Football broadcast team.
Green set a club record with 192 yards rushing and scored on a 45-yard run in the fourth quarter that gave the Packers a 14-10 lead at the time.
McNabb, who completed 15 of 31 passes for 198 yards on the night, led Philadelphia to two fourth quarter scores to secure the Eagles' fourth consecutive win.
He scored on a one-yard run to cap a 54-yard drive, and threw a six-yard TD pass to Todd Pinkston with 27 seconds remaining for the game-winning score.
All fans who visited the Snickers web site and correctly selected Donovan McNabb or Ahman Green prior to 11:00 PM EST last night will receive a free Snickers bar, and will automatically be eligible for a trip for two to Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston, TX.
Each week, five players from each team in the Monday Night game appear on Snickers.com, along with a "WILDCARD" for each team.
Fans log onto the site, register with a code found inside the wrapper of specially marked Snickers bars, and select a player from the ten nominees, or choose the "WILDCARD" representative of the remaining players on the rosters.
The winner of the Super Bowl trip will be randomly selected later this week from fans who made the correct selection to win the SNICKERS(r) HUNGRIEST PLAYER(tm) in last night's game.
Throughout the season, Snickers will award 16 Super Bowl trips, a winner for each of the 16 Monday Night Football telecasts.
