ADAMS FINDS THE END ZONE

Trailing 21-13 in the third quarter and facing a critical third-and-15, the Packers struck big. QB Aaron Rodgers found rookie WR Davante Adams over the middle for the first down. Adams then juked the Dallas safety, cut back to his left and outran a handful of Cowboys defenders to the pylon for a 46-yard touchdown, capping a 90-yard drive and pulling the Packers within a point. Adams finished the game with seven catches for 117 yards, the most in both categories by a Packers rookie in Green Bay postseason history.

DEFENSE GETS BACK-TO-BACK SACKS

On Dallas' ensuing possession, Packers LB Nick Perry sacked QB Tony Romo for an 8-yard loss on first down on the final play of the third quarter. Then, on the first play of the fourth quarter, Perry and DT Mike Daniels combined on another sack for a 5-yard loss. The Cowboys couldn't convert on third-and-23 and punted the ball back to the Packers for what turned out to be the game-winning drive.

RODGERS TO RODGERS LASER GIVES PACKERS THE LEAD

Rookie TE Richard Rodgers finished off an eight-play, 80-yard drive with a 13-yard TD grab on a laser-like throw from his namesake between two Dallas defenders in the end zone. It was the pass-catching Rodgers' only reception of the day, and it came with just 9:10 left in the game. But it gave the Packers their first lead since the first quarter and provided the winning points.
