PACKERS REACH THIRD STRAIGHT POSTSEASON

The Green Bay Packers made the postseason for the third consecutive season. Green Bay was one of six NFL teams to make the playoffs in each of the last three seasons (2023-25), joining Buffalo, Houston, the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

  • Dating back to 2019, Green Bay has made the postseason six times, tied with Kansas City and Philadelphia for the second-most postseason appearances in the NFL over that span (Buffalo, seven).
  • The Packers made the postseason for the 38th time, the most by a team in NFL history (Dallas, 36).
  • It was the 14th playoff appearance for Green Bay in 17 years, the most in the NFL over that span.
  • Dating back to realignment (2002), Green Bay leads the NFC with 17 playoff appearances.
  • It was the franchise's 25th playoff appearance in the last 33 seasons (1993-2025), the most in the NFL over that span.
  • Green Bay (37) has the third-most postseason wins in league history (San Francisco, 40 / New England, 40).
  • The Packers have 13 wins in playoff road games, No. 1 in the NFL (Baltimore and Tennessee rank No. 2 with 11).

  • It was the sixth time in seven seasons under LaFleur that the Packers have won nine-plus games (2019-21, 2023-25). Green Bay is tied for No. 2 in the league in seasons with nine-plus wins since 2019 (Buffalo ranks No. 1 with seven).
  • Since 2019, the Packers have six winning seasons, tied for No. 2 in the NFL over the span behind the Bills (seven).
  • The Packers have won six-plus games in 20 consecutive seasons (since 2006). Only the Steelers have a longer active streak (37 consecutive seasons).
  • Green Bay finished the regular season with a 5-3 (.625) home record, its eighth straight season (2018-25) with a winning record at Lambeau Field. The Chiefs were the only other NFL team with a winning record at home each season from 2018-25.
  • The Packers were 4-4-1 on the road, marking the fifth time in seven seasons under LaFleur that Green Bay finished with a record of .500 or better on the road.
  • Green Bay finished 4-2 in division games in the regular season, a .667 winning percentage that tied for No. 6 in the NFL (five AFC teams tied for No. 1, 5-1, .833).
  • The Packers (4-2) finished tied for the best division record in the NFC North for the 2025 regular season (Minnesota, 4-2 / Chicago and Detroit, 2-4).
  • This was the second time the Packers played three Saturday games (including playoffs) in a season (1953).
  • The Wild Card game at Chicago was the first time in team history that the Packers had four different wide receivers post a TD catch in a postseason game.
  • QB Jordan Love completed 24 of 46 passes for 323 yards, four TDs and a passer rating of 103.8 in the 2025 Wild Card contest, joining QBs Bart Starr (Jan. 1, 1967) and Aaron Rodgers (Jan. 8, 2017) as the only players in team history to post 300-plus passing yards and four TDs with no INTs in a playoff game.
  • WR Matthew Golden became the second rookie in team history (WR Davante Adams vs. Dallas on Jan. 11, 2015) to post 80-plus receiving yards and a receiving TD in a playoff game.
  • In the Wild Card contest against the Bears, WR Romeo Doubs became the second player in team history (Adams) to have six-plus receptions for 120-plus yards and a TD in a game twice in the postseason.
  • P Daniel Whelan posted a 48.8-yard gross punting average against the Bears in the Wild Card game, the top single-game mark (min. four punts) in team postseason history.

A LOOK BACK AT THE 2025 SCHEDULE

The Green Bay Packers' 2025 NFL schedule featured eight home games and nine road contests and was highlighted by six primetime contests. Of the 17 games on the schedule, nine were against teams that made the playoffs in 2024, including four versus division champions.

  • The Packers tied for the fifth-hardest schedule based on opponents' combined 2024 winning percentage (161-128, .557).
  • Green Bay had seven contests against teams that won 12-plus regular-season games in 2024, including five games against teams that had 14-plus wins.
  • Over half of the Packers' games were against teams that recorded double-digit wins in 2024 (nine of 17).
  • Five of the Packers' eight regular-season home games came against 2024 playoff teams, including both teams that made it to the 2024 NFC Championship Game.
  • Green Bay opened the season with back-to-back home games against 2024 playoff teams (Detroit and Washington). It was the first time since 2018 that Green Bay played its first two games at home.
  • The Packers opened the season at home for the first time since 2018 and only the third time in the last 13 seasons. Green Bay was the only team in the NFL to open the season on the road each of the last six years (2019-24).
  • The Packers play one NFC North contest in the first 10 games.
  • Green Bay has four road games in a five-game stretch from Weeks 3-8 (Week 5 bye). Green Bay will have one home game (Oct. 12 vs. Cincinnati) over a 51-day span between home games (Sept. 11 vs. Washington – Nov. 2 vs. Carolina).
  • The Packers have three separate instances of back-to-back road trips (Weeks 3-4, Weeks 7-8, Weeks 15-16).
  • The Packers went on the road for the first time in Week 3 when they traveled to take on the Cleveland Browns, kicking off a stretch of three AFC North opponents in five games.
  • Green Bay faced a primetime road test in Week 4 at Dallas against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
  • It was the second time in the last four seasons that Green Bay had back-to-back road games heading into the bye week (2022).
  • The Packers were on the bye in Week 5, marking its earliest bye week since 2020 (Week 5).
  • Green Bay took on the Cincinnati Bengals at home in Week 6 before going west to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7.
  • The Packers went east in Week 8 to play a Sunday night game at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
  • Green Bay followed up back-to-back road games with two straight home games, a Week 9 contest against the Carolina Panthers and then a Week 10 Monday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles, marking the third time playing the defending Super Bowl champion at home in the last four seasons (defeated the Los Angeles Rams in 2022 and Kansas City Chiefs in 2023). It was the 33rd straight season (1993-2025) that Green Bay will play on MNF.
  • Week 11 brought another game against the NFC East as the Packers traveled to play the New York Giants.
  • Between the Nov. 16 game at the Giants through the Nov. 27 game at the Lions, it was three games over a 12-day span for Green Bay.
  • After hosting the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12, the Packers played at the Lions on Thanksgiving, marking the third straight year that Green Bay has played on Thanksgiving, including the second time over that span in Detroit. The Packers began December at home against the Chicago Bears in Week 14. After a road game at the Denver Broncos in Week 15, Green Bay faced the Bears again in Week 16 at Chicago on a Saturday.
  • Since realignment in 2002, it was just the second time (2012) the Packers played five of their last seven games against NFC North foes.
  • The final two regular season contests were against teams with 12-plus wins in 2024 (vs Baltimore, at Minnesota).
  • Green Bay played on Saturday night in Week 17 vs. Baltimore, marking the first time since 1966 that the Packers played multiple Saturday games.
  • Green Bay finished the regular season with three of four games on the road.
  • It was the first time since 2020 that the Packers did not finish the season with back-to-back division contests and the first time since 2021 that Green Bay finished the regular season on the road.
  • It was the fifth time in seven seasons under LaFleur that the Packers started and ended the season with an NFC North game.
  • Green Bay took on the Vikings in Week 18 in Minnesota.
  • The Packers and Vikings finished the regular season against each other for the first time since 2015 and in Minnesota for the first time since 2012.

IN-SEASON AWARDS

  • Love earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week for games played in Week 13 (November 27-28, November 30, December 1). It was the fourth career Offensive Player of the Week award for Love and second this season (Week 8, Oct 23, 26-27). Love is the third Packers quarterback to win the award four times (2023: Weeks 17, 18 / 2025: Week 8, 13), joining Aaron Rodgers (14-time winner) and Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre (12). Love is the only former Utah State player to win four Player of the Week awards.
  • Love was selected the FedEx Air Player of the Week via fan vote for his performances in Week 8 and in the win on Thanksgiving at Detroit in Week 13. FedEx will proudly offer a $2,000 donation for each win in Love's name to Feeding America for a local food bank in Green Bay.
  • Parsons was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for October (Weeks 5-8). Parsons was the only player in the NFC in the month of October to record three sacks in a game (Week 8 at Arizona) and finished the month with four sacks, tied for No. 2 in the NFC and five tackles for loss, tied for No. 3. Green Bay was the only NFC team to go undefeated (3-0) from Weeks 5-8. The award marks Parsons' second career Player of the Month honor (September 2023 with Dallas). He is the first Packer to win Defensive Player of the Month since Xavier McKinney (October 2024). Parsons is the second former Penn State defensive player to earn multiple Defensive Player of the Month awards, joining Sean Lee.
  • Parsons earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in Week 7 at Arizona. It was the fourth career Defensive Player of the Week award for Parsons and first as a Packer (2021: Week 8 / 2022: Week 5 / 2023: Week 2). Parsons is the third Packers defensive lineman to earn the honor in the past 20 seasons (2006-25), joining Aaron Kampman (twice) and Dean Lowry. Parsons ties Cameron Wake (four-time winner) for the most Defensive Players of the Week awards won by a former Penn State player.
