HUMANA SPONSORING EVENT TO BENEFIT THE ANGEL FUND FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER

Packers running backs coach Edgar Bennett, along with many Packers players, coaches and scouts, will take to the lanes at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley, Wednesday, June 13, for the fourth Edgar Bennett Celebrity Bowl-A-Thon. Humana is the presenting sponsor for the event.

The event will help raise money for The Angel Fund for Children with Cancer, Inc., an organization dedicated to giving financial and social support to families residing in Brown County whose children are receiving treatment for cancer or for bone marrow failure.

Registration for the evening begins at 6 p.m., with the bowling event and silent auction to start at 6:30.

More than 30 Packers players are scheduled to participate, along with many coaches and staff members.

Kraft Foods is participating as a food sponsor for the event.

Area businesses and individuals are encouraged to support the effort. Lane sponsorships are available as a way to join the fun-filled evening and bowl with a member of the Green Bay Packers family.

Corporate- and lane-level sponsorships: Two types of sponsorship, each $1,000, are available for a team of four bowlers per lane, to be joined by one Packers celebrity. All participants will receive a shirt and team photo, their company sign displayed above their lane, plus access to the Kraft Foods buffet and soda.

Individual sponsorship: Individuals may participate as well for $250, with each bowler placed four to a lane, to be joined by one Packers celebrity. All participants will receive a shirt and lane photo, plus access to the Kraft Foods buffet and soda.

For more information about sponsorships and to sign up, please contact the Packers' community relations department at 920/569-7500.
