The 'Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year' trophy presented last Tuesday to Packers quarterback Brett Favre will be on display Sunday in the Lambeau Field Atrium from 8 a.m. to noon for fans attending the Packers-Raiders game.

The sterling silver trophy crafted by Tiffany & Co. then will be on display in the Packers Hall of Fame, beginning Monday, Dec. 10, and continuing through the end of December.

The Sportsman of the Year award is given annually by the magazine to the athlete who best symbolizes in character and performance the ideals of sportsmanship.

Favre is the fourth NFL player to be named Sportsman, and all have been quarterbacks: Terry Bradshaw (1979, with Willie Stargell), Joe Montana (1990) and Tom Brady (2005) were the others. Favre is the first Green Bay Packers player to earn the honor.

*The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame is open on non-game days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the exception of opening at 8:30 a.m. on the day prior to and after a game. Hours may vary on game days and holidays. Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62 and older), $5 for children 6-11, and children 5 and under are free.
