Glenn Excused From Practice Wednesday

Packers wide receiver Terry Glenn missed his first practice of the 2002 regular season Wednesday, but unlike his training camp absences it had nothing to do with his injured left knee.

Early Wednesday morning, Glenn and girlfriend Monica Carnevelini became the parents of a baby girl. As a result, Packers GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman excused Glenn from practice to spend time with his family and catch up on sleep.

The name of Glenn's newborn was not available. Glenn also has a 6-year-old son, Terry Jr.
