Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green is among the nominees for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week honors for games played on October 5-6, the NFL announced Tuesday.
Quarterbacks Drew Brees of the San Diego Chargers, Byron Leftwich of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts, and Steve McNair of the Tennessee Titans are the finalists for FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week.
Fans can vote for one player in each category on NFL.com from Tuesday morning through noon on Thursday to determine the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week. The FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week will be announced Thursday on NFL.com and Friday in USA Today.

Green Bay's Ahman Green rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries in the Packers' 35-13 win over Seattle.
Carolina's Stephen Davis rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries in the Panthers' 19-13 win over New Orleans. Davis also became the first player in NFL history to rush for over 100 yards in his first four games with a new team.
Denver's Clinton Portis rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries in the Broncos' 24-23 loss to Kansas City. Portis also caught five passes for 79 yards.

San Diego's Drew Brees completed 24 of 41 attempts for 296 yards and three touchdowns for a passer rating of 105.3 in the Chargers' 27-21 loss to Jacksonville.
Jacksonville's Byron Leftwich completed 19 of 28 attempts for 336 yards and two touchdowns for a 132.4 passer rating in the Jaguars' 27-21 win over San Diego.
Indianapolis' Peyton Manning completed 34 of 47 pass attempts for 386 yards and two touchdowns in the Colts' 38-35 overtime win over Tampa Bay. Manning led the Colts on four fourth-quarter touchdown drives and the game-winning field goal drive in overtime as he recorded a passer rating of 101.9.
Tennessee's Steve McNair completed 23 of 45 pass attempts for 391 yards in the Titans' 38-30 loss to New England. McNair also rushed for 18 yards and two touchdowns on six carries.
