The Green Bay Packers are preparing to bring the spirit of Lambeau Field and American football to the U.K., with special "Packers Huddle" fan events planned for Newcastle upon Tyne and London.

Though the Packers will not be playing games overseas this year, Packers fans in the U.K. can still experience the excitement and the camaraderie of football season with Packers Huddle events preceding the first of three international NFL games in London.

The event in Newcastle upon Tyne will be held in collaboration with Newcastle United on 1 October and will take place at Shearer's Sports Bar & Lounge from 7-9 p.m. The program will feature Packers legend Antonio Freeman, Newcastle United legend Shola Ameobi and other special guests. The festivities will be hosted by sportscaster and media personality Olivia Harlan Dekker and Stephen O'Brien, founder of the UK Packers fan club and a popular Packers podcaster. Attendees will enjoy prizes, live entertainment and the opportunity to meet and take photos with Freeman. Fans planning to attend the Huddle are asked to register via this link.

In London, the Packers will host a special circus-themed Huddle event at BOX Piccadilly in Piccadilly Circus on 3 October from 1-5 p.m. The event will feature circus games, prizes, a live DJ, the opportunity to meet and take photos with Freeman and a scavenger hunt through the NFL OnePass app. Attendees who complete the scavenger hunt by scanning in at five designated circus stations will be entered to win an autographed Jordan Love jersey, with three grand prize winners to be selected.

Fans planning to attend the London Huddle are asked to register via the NFL’s OnePass app. For step-by-step instructions on downloading the OnePass app and navigating to the registration page, visit pckrs.com/2026OnePassLondon.

The Packers hold international marketing rights in the United Kingdom, Germany and Ireland through the NFL's Global Markets Program, allowing the organization to pursue specialized international marketing efforts including events and programming, targeted digital initiatives, specially curated content and other fan engagement opportunities.

Among the club's most prolific receivers, he ranks in the top 10 in team annals in receptions (431), yards (6,651) and touchdown receptions (57). He authored numerous big-game performances over his career, including a three-reception, 105-yard outing in Super Bowl XXXI which included a then-Super Bowl record 81-yard TD reception. He also had a nine-catch, 126-yard, two-TD game in Super Bowl XXXII.

He earned consensus All-Pro honors and a Pro Bowl selection in 1998 after posting 1,424 receiving yards to lead the NFL. He was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2009. About the Green Bay Packers: The Green Bay Packers, an iconic professional American football team established in 1919, are the only community-owned team in U.S. professional sports, with more than half a million fans owning shares in the club. Remarkably, though the team plays in Green Bay, Wisconsin—by far the smallest city in the National Football League with just over 100,000 residents—the Packers are the league's most successful franchise, with 13 championships, including four Super Bowls. The club's legendary home stadium, Lambeau Field, has sold out every game since 1960 and is celebrated as one of the best gameday experiences in sports. Generations of Packers season ticket holders are known to warmly welcome all fans to their pregame tailgate parties. The entire state of Wisconsin rallies behind the Packers, with fans proudly referring to themselves as "Cheeseheads" in a nod to the state's dairy heritage, made famous by the foam cheese hat now recognized worldwide as a symbol of the team. The Packers are more than an American football club; they are a beloved tradition that unites a community, a state and fans around the world.
