Green Bay signs DT Eric Johnson II, WR Quincy Skinner Jr. to the practice squad

The Green Bay Packers signed DT Eric Johnson II and WR Quincy Skinner Jr. to the practice squad. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Wednesday.

Johnson (6-4, 299), a fifth-year player, was originally selected out of Missouri State by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round (No. 159 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has played for the Colts (2022-23, 2025) and the New England Patriots (2024) while also spending time with the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons in 2026. Overall, Johnson has played in 51 games and registered 41 tackles (13 solo), two tackles for a loss, a sack, three QB hits and a fumble recovery. He will wear No. 69 for the Packers.

Skinner (6-1, 204), a first-year player out of Vanderbilt, was originally signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. He was released by the Falcons toward the end of training camp last year and spent this past offseason and training camp with the New York Jets. Skinner spent four seasons at Vanderbilt (2021-24), finishing his career with 809 yards and eight touchdowns on 66 receptions (12.3 avg.). He will wear No. 82 for the Packers.
