Ice Skating on Titletown's Hy-vee Plaza now open

Winter fun returns to Titletown with ice skating on Hy-Vee Plaza


With the winter months fast approaching, the fan-favorite ice skating on Hy-Vee Plaza is now officially open for another season of cold-weather fun.

Skating rink hours, admission and rental prices are available at Visitors are reminded that everyone using the rink must complete a waiver and waivers may be completed ahead of time at Season passes for ice skating on Hy-Vee Plaza are available for purchase in-person only at the Admissions building.

Throughout December, families can enjoy a plethora of themed skating experiences. On Tuesday evenings, children can come take photos with a different holiday character each week during Characters on Ice. Other themed skates include Santa Skate on Saturday mornings and Glow Skate on Thursday evenings, featuring brightly colored lights illuminating the rink. Titletown will also host Community Nights with discounted admission available to guests.

Titletown is also gearing up to celebrate with the free Winter Jubilee Warm Up, presented by EUA and Shopko Optical, on Friday, Nov. 24, and Saturday, Nov. 25. The Winter Jubilee Light Show presented by EUA and Shopko Optical will also be returning, and debuts at 6 p.m. on Nov. 24.

The Winter Jubilee Warm Up will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, when ice skating on the Hy-Vee Plaza opens for the day. At 4 p.m., Santa will make an appearance to Titletown with a special bell ceremony and multiple fire pits will be lit at the Terrapin Beer Garden, along with drinks served fireside. On Nov. 24, the Winter Jubilee Light Show presented by EUA and Shopko Optical will debut at 6 p.m. This schedule will continue most Fridays and Saturdays with increasing showtimes later in December. The family-friendly presentation is projected onto Lambeau Field's outer west façade, off of Ridge Road, and will feature a dazzling blend of holiday-themed lights and animation, music, special effects and fireworks.
