Lambeau Field Carry-In Policy Clarified

In light of some recent confusion over the carry-in policy at Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers Friday reiterated the policy.

Among prohibited carry-ins are umbrellas, no matter where fans' seats are located. Food and water of any type are prohibited as well. This includes bottled water, capped or uncapped.

Fans are reminded that complimentary water remains available at all fixed (non-portable) concession stands. First aid stations located at Sections 133 and 330 also have water available.

The full security and carry-in policy is stated below.

Security & Carry-In Policy

The Green Bay Packers, in conjunction with law enforcement officials, are dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment in which to enjoy the games. Police officers are stationed at each entrance gate, and all persons entering the stadium are subject to search and questioning. Full cooperation with the authorities is appreciated and will help speed the progression of the lines. Please be aware that carry-in policies may be modified from game to game as security levels change. Items permitted into the stadium are determined at the discretion of each officer. Weapons, bags, backpacks, coolers, umbrellas, duffel bags, large purses, fanny packs, obstructive banners and signs are all strictly prohibited, as are food & beverages, video cameras and still photo cameras with lenses over 12 inches. As a general rule, please leave all unnecessary items at home.

The following exceptions are worth noting: Additional clothing, blankets, etc., are allowed if carried loosely (not in a bag). Small purses, not exceeding 8x10x12 inches, are permitted but subject to search. Small cameras, binoculars and cellular phones are acceptable if carried loosely (not in a case). Stadium seats/cushions are permitted.

Prohibited items must be returned to your vehicle or they will be confiscated and discarded.
