With the Lambeau Field Atrium renovation nearly complete, the Green Bay Packers are now turning their attention to the premium areas, with work now under way on enhancements to the venerable stadium's suites interiors and club seat common areas.

The $55-million project is based on extensive research conducted and feedback received from both suite and club seat ticket holders, and will be the first major updates to the two areas since they opened in 2003.

Feedback indicated that suite holders have a strong desire to feel more closely connected to the game action and the electric atmosphere in the stadium bowl. Thus, one major component of the renovations to the suites includes installation of operable window systems, which are specially designed to allow game attendees in each suite to open and close windows as they see fit. All the top-rated sights, sounds and energy that are so much a part of the legendary gameday experience at Lambeau Field will be brought into each suite.

In addition to the new operable window systems, renovations to the suites will include updated décor with new carpeting and paint, as well as full-size refrigerators and induction chafing dishes.

The Club Seat common areas also are currently undergoing a makeover, with additional TVs and new video walls being installed, as well as the addition of more high-top tables and chairs and updated décor including corridor graphics, new carpeting and paint.

"Reinvesting in the suite and club level is important for us to continue providing an excellent gameday experience in all areas of the stadium," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "We want fans in those areas to feel connected to the game and engaged in the action, and these updates will meet that goal."

The project will take two years, with work done primarily during two offseasons, and be fully complete for the 2017 season. Initial work, which began in September, will focus on technical and logistical infrastructure. Somerville Architects and Miron Construction are among the companies that will be working on the project.

Demand for suites and club seats remains strong at Lambeau Field. Individuals and companies who are interested in being added to the wait list for premium areas are asked to call 920-569-7260.
