Levens excelled with the ball in hand

Packers.com Editor Vic Ketchman sat down with former Packers running back Dorsey Levens who talked about his memories of the Packers 96-97 seasons, his role with fullback William Henderson, and lists his favorite games.

Levens, a fifth-round pick in 1994 out of Georgia Tech, played eight seasons (1994-2001) in a Packers uniform, with 53 starts among 102 games played.

The sixth all-time leading rusher in  team history, he ran for 3,937 yards on 1,006 carries, with 28 touchdowns. A gifted receiver as well, Levens caught 271 passes for 2,079 yards and 16 TDs; only two other backs in Packers annals – Ahman Green (350) and Henderson (320) – had more career receptions. A Pro Bowl selection in 1997, he was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2009.
