NFL Europe Week 6 Preview

The 10-week NFL Europe season is half over, with the Barcelona Dragons currently leading the way at 4-1, and the homestretch looming en route to World Bowl XI, June 14.

This weekend, six of the seven Green Bay Packers allocated to NFLE will appear in the same game, as the Frankfurt Galaxy (3-2) host the Scottish Claymores (2-3).

After a 3-0 start, the Galaxy dropped their last two heading into the weekend, and the Claymores are coming off of a loss as well.

Packers punter Tim Morgan and defensive back Jeremy Unertl represent the Galaxy. Morgan is tied for the league lead with a 42.2-yard punting average, and Unertl ranks second in the league in interceptions with two.

The Claymores are led offensively by quarterback Craig Nall, who has thrown for an NFLE-leading 1,059 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, safety Bobby Jackson leads the team with 27 tackles.

Linebackers Isaac Keys (10 tackles) and Jermaine Petty (7) are also contributors for Scotland.

The Scotland-Frankfurt game will be televised to United States audiences on DirecTV, Saturday at noon CT.

First-place Barcelona will host the last-place Berlin Thunder (1-4) in a game tape-delayed to the U.S., Saturday on FOX Sports Net at noon CT.

In the final game of the week, Packers wide receiver Travis Williams and the Amsterdam Admirals (2-3) will look to even their record against the Rhein Fire (3-2). That game also will be televised on DirecTV at noon CT, Saturday.
