Packers alumnus John Kuhn has joined the team as sports analyst for the organization's digital, broadcast and game presentation department, Gabrielle Dow, Packers vice president of marketing and fan engagement announced today.

Kuhn, a former fullback who played nine seasons in Green Bay, was a key member of teams that won Super Bowl XLV and five division titles.

During his time as a player, Kuhn developed an interest in media and broadcasting and participated in the NFL Broadcasting Boot Camp in 2015. He spent time during and after his playing career guest-hosting and co-hosting a variety of radio and live sports programs.

In his new role as sports analyst, he will create and contribute content to the Packers' digital properties, including packers.com and the team's social media platforms.

"We're excited to welcome John to our digital and broadcast team," said Dow. "His unique football perspective and his great connection with Packers fans and the community will be an outstanding addition to our staff."

Kuhn, a York, Pennsylvania, native, began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2005 and was claimed off waivers by Green Bay in 2007, where he went on to earn three Pro Bowl selections (2011, 2014-15). He finished his career playing two seasons (2016-17) with the New Orleans Saints, and officially retired as a Packer in March of this year.
