DE B.J. McBryde signed to the practice squad, DT Eric Crume released

The Green Bay Packers have signed DE B.J. McBrydeto the practice squad and released DT Eric Crume from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

McBryde, a 6-foot-5, 303-pound rookie out of the University of Connecticut, originally signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a non-drafted free agent on May 8, 2015. He was placed on injured reserve during training camp and released on Oct. 21. McBryde appeared in 30 games with eight starts in his four-year collegiate career, recording 33 tackles (15 solo), two tackles for a loss and a pass defensed. He will wear No. 77 for the Packers.
