The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Kisean Johnson and waived/injured S Johnathan Baldwin II and CB Marlon Jones. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Sunday.
(KEY-shawn) Johnson (6-0, 216), is a first-year player who spent four seasons at Alabama State (2020-23) and one season at Western Kentucky (2024). He returns to the Packers after spending some time on the practice squad during the 2025 postseason. Johnson was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cleveland Browns on May 12, 2025, and was released after training camp. He earned third-team All-America honors from FCS Football Central and was a first-team All-SWAC selection during his time at Alabama State. In one season with the Hilltoppers, Johnson earned second-team All-Conference USA honors. He will wear No. 86 for Green Bay.
