After the bye week the Packers are headed to San Diego, and Packers Everywhere is inviting all local Packers fans to start the festivities early with a free Pep Rally Saturday evening, Nov. 5, at The BeachWood, a sports bar and restaurant located at 4190 Mission Blvd. in San Diego.

The excitement will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. PT.

Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy will take part in the pre-gameday rally to greet fans and take part in a Q-and-A session with Wayne Larrivee and Packers.com writers. Packers alumni John Brockington, Willie Buchanon, and Michael Douglass will also be at the rally to socialize with fans and discuss their thoughts on the next day's game against the Chargers.

"We're excited to visit with fans for an away game. It's free to the public and it's a chance for fans to visit with alumni and Mark Murphy. It also is a chance for fans to visit one of over 1,500 official Packers Everywhere establishments," said Joan Malcheski of the Green Bay Packers. "Our hope is to have additional rallies in other away game cities."

In addition to the Packers personalities on hand, Johnsonville Brats, Sargento Cheese, and Miller beverages will be available to purchase to give an even greater Wisconsin feel to the event. A variety of Packers raffle prizes will be given out, including Packers merchandise, and Packers Pro Shop gift cards.

Reservations are not being accepted for the gathering, and space is first-come, first-served.

Packers Everywhere is a website and mobile app that allows Packers fans to seek out official Packers establishments where they can watch games with fellow fans. Being a member allows viewing of events that are also taking place in different areas throughout the country.
