The Green Bay Packers have named Jeff Blaskoassistant offensive line coach, Tim McGarigle defensive quality control coach, and David Raih offensive perimeter coach. Head Coach Mike McCarthy made the announcement Monday.

Blasko is in his second year with the Packers after serving as a coaching administrator in 2016. He joined the Packers after serving as the tight ends coach at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. Prior to Penn, he held the same position at Kansas University for three seasons (2012-14). In 2011, Blasko was the offensive quality control coach at the University of Florida and was promoted to quarterbacks coach for the team's Gator Bowl win over Ohio State. From 2008-10, he worked in both recruiting and with the offense as a graduate assistant at the University of Akron. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native started his coaching career in the high-school ranks as an assistant at Steel Valley High School (Munhall, Pa.) from 2002-05 and Bethel Park (Pa.) High School from 2006-07.

McGarigle (mac-GARGLE) joins the Packers after spending 2016 as the linebackers coach at the University of Illinois. In his only season in Champaign, he helped Hardy Nickerson and Tre Watson to 100-plus tackle seasons, with each player being named All-Big Ten honorable mention. Prior to joining Illinois, McGarigle coached linebackers at Western Michigan from 2012-15, adding run game coordinator duties in 2014-15. He played at Northwestern, finishing his college career with an FBS-record (since 2000) 545 total tackles. McGarigle was selected in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams and played in 12 games for the Rams in 2007. The Chicago native returned to his alma mater after his playing career and was the defensive quality control assistant and graduate assistant for the Wildcats in 2011.

Raih (RYE) has been with the Packers for the past three seasons, spending 2014-15 as a coaching administrator and 2016 as assistant offensive line coach. Before joining Green Bay, he spent 2013 at Texas Tech as the director of high school relations before being promoted to outside receivers coach. The former Iowa quarterback (1999-2003) coached at his alma mater as a graduate assistant, working with the offensive line in 2010-11 and the tight ends in 2012. Raih started his coaching career as an intern for the UCLA football program, working with quarterbacks in 2008 and tight ends in 2009.
