The Green Bay Packers, in partnership with Ticketmaster, are now offering season ticket holders the ability to completely manage their accounts online.

With the Packers, all 32 NFL teams have now elected to use the Archtics(r) ticketing system and AccountManager online consumer management technology, both provided by Ticketmaster. Information on the new capabilities and instructions on how to set up accounts were included with season ticket invoices mailed this week.

"We're excited to offer this new account resource to our ticket holders," said Mark Wagner, the Packers' director of ticket operations. "With more and more people utilizing the Internet and visiting Packers.com, it is an enhancement we anticipate will be utilized often by our customers."

"The Packers recognize that their season ticket holders are ready to embrace the great convenience online account management provides," said Dave Scarborough, Ticketmaster Executive Vice President, Technology. "We are honored that all 32 NFL teams now look to Ticketmaster to provide their fans with this important and valuable service."

Through their online accounts, Packers season ticket holders will be able to make payments online and track ticket usage through the season, among its many features.

A particular feature, called "Ticket Forwarding," allows ticket holders to forward tickets to their friends, family and clients via e-mail. The process can be done up to two-and-one-quarter hours before the game and avoids the need for overnight or in-person delivery. This is accomplished by the use of a unique barcode on each ticket that will be scanned at Lambeau Field gates this season. During the forwarding process, the barcode on the original season ticket is cancelled and a new one is issued electronically. The recipient is sent a new ticket via TicketFast(r) with a unique barcode that can be printed right away.
