This Sunday, the Green Bay Packers are giving football fans and collectors the chance to capture the excitement of this year's Packers team in a never-before-offered Officially Licensed Green Bay Packers 2005 Medallion Collection.

This collection consists of a glossy collector's album and 22 elaborate medallions.

The album comes complete with a historical article, player biographies, statistics and photographs about each of the extraordinary players, plus a special page to house all 22 medallions, making this album a wonderful keepsake. These wonderful silver finished medallions feature a photographic image of the 21 high-profile players on the front and artwork featuring the Packers logo on the back. The set is completed with a commemorative Lambeau Field medallion.

To start this unique collection, interested fans should obtain a FREE PACKERS MEDALLION Album at participating retailers with a coupon from Sunday's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel or participating Gannett Wisconsin Newspapers. The album will also be given away in-stadium at Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Then, on Monday, Sept. 19, a special 'medallion coupon' will be printed in The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and participating Gannett Wisconsin Newspapers for readers to take to participating retailers to purchase that day's medallion, for only $2.99 plus tax. There's a new one every day, so fans should be sure to collect the whole set.

These medallions commemorate today's great Packers. From Brett Favre and Ryan Longwell, to William Henderson and Nick Barnett, to Ahman Green and Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, these medallions will be treasured for years to come.

More details on this program can be found in current editions of both The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and participating Gannett Wisconsin Newspapers.
