Fan Photos To Be Displayed In Lambeau Field Concourse; Private Reception For Those Who Purchase

Every diehard Packers fan's checklist is similar: passionate lifelong fan, season-ticket holder (or on the waiting list), closet full of Packers clothing, Packers memorabilia prominently displayed around the house and workplace, and a Packers tattoo (or at least a temporary one on game day).

So, how does one take the next step in showing support for the Green and Gold?

The answer: the new Packers Portraits, a program which gives fans an exciting opportunity to enhance their connection to the team by enabling them to display their pride inside legendary Lambeau Field.

Pillars throughout the stadium concourse will be adorned with photos from fans who can purchase a spot to commemorate a moment, display their spirit or memorialize a special Packers fan. It also is a great gift idea for the ultimate fan.

"Lambeau Field is a source pride for the Packers and our fans. This new program provides fans a unique way to display their passion for the team," said Laura Sankey, Packers senior vice president of marketing and sales. "No other team has the kind of support we get from our fans, and now people can been seen on the pillars that literally support Lambeau Field.

"We anticipate that fans will have a lot of fun with it, such as fan groups who come to the games together, office teams of Packers-Backers, out-of-town fans who want to show their support right at the stadium, or simply a unique opportunity or gift for our most enthusiastic fans."

Two pillars are in place already with photos of fans tailgating, pets dressed in green and gold, wedding photos, tributes to grandparents and military units with Packers flags. It is believed to be the first program of its kind in pro sports.

"It's really a special opportunity for us to offer to our fans to be a part of every game and be part of the crowd excitement at Lambeau," Sankey added.

An easy process, fans can purchase their spot in the concourse online at www.packersproshop.com. The program, which costs $300, includes a 12-by-9 inch photo (horizontal or vertical) prominently displayed on a Lambeau Field concourse pillar, a personalized caption of up to 29 characters, a certificate of ownership including pillar location and a small picture of the photo, and an opportunity for one exclusive visit to the pillar over the course of the year. This visit will allow people, who may not make it to the game or visit Green Bay during the season, to get to see themselves promoting the Packers. The photo contract, which will be renewable each year, will run through June of the following year. A private reception will be held in the spring of 2010 for those who purchase this year.

More information on the program is available online at www.packersproshop.com or via telephone at 800-992-5750.
