GREEN BAY – Packers running back Aaron Jones has been named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week after rushing for 132 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-10 win over Chicago.

It's the fifth time Jones has won the weekly award, tying Ahman Green for the most FedEx Ground awards by a Packers player.

Since 2017, when Jones entered the league, he is tied for fourth-most wins with Alvin Kamara and Joe Mixon. Only Derrick Henry (15), Dalvin Cook (6) and Jonathan Taylor (6) have more in that timeframe.

Jones' 15-carry, 132-yard performance marked the third time in his career that Jones has surpassed 130 rushing yards on 15 or fewer carries, the most by a Packer since 1950.

For the 2022-23 NFL regular season, FedEx will make donations of $2,000 in the name of the winning quarterback and running back ($4,000 total) to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the country.

Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was named the FedEx Air Player of the Week after completing 36 of 50 passes for 469 yards and six touchdowns in the Dolphins' 42-38 win over Baltimore.

The other nominees for Ground Player of the Week were Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson (nine carries for 119 yards and a TD) and Cleveland running back Nick Chubb (17 carries for 87 yards and three TDs).
