The Green Bay Packers have re-signed CB Jarrett Bush. The signing was announced Thursday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

In 2011, Bush appeared in all 16 games for the fourth consecutive season, starting two and finishing with 21 tackles (14 solo). He set new career highs with two interceptions and 1½ sacks, while also tying a previous career high with eight passes defensed. A regular on each of the club's special teams units, Bush tied for the team lead with 12 coverage tackles. He has posted a double-digit tackle total on special teams in six consecutive seasons (2006-11), the only Packer to accomplish that feat since the statistic began to be recorded in 1976.

Claimed off waivers from Carolina by the Packers in 2006, Bush has played in 102 of a possible 104 games (including playoffs), with nine starts during his career in Green Bay. He has recorded 81 tackles (62 solo), 26 passes defensed, three interceptions and 1½ sacks on defense and 75 career tackles on special teams during the regular season.
