For the 15th consecutive season, the Green Bay Packers and Sargento Foods are teaming up to raise money for neighbors in need. As part of the Touchdowns for Charity™ program, each Packers touchdown puts points on the board against hunger in Wisconsin.

For every Packers touchdown during the 2017 regular season, which kicks off Sunday, Sargento Foods donates a total of $1,500 to two Wisconsin food charities: Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee and Paul's Pantry in Green Bay. One in eight Wisconsin residents face hunger.

Since beginning in 2002, Touchdowns for Charity has raised more than $1.2 million in total program donations and has provided more than one million meals to help those in need. During the 2016 regular season, Sargento Foods, the official cheese of the Green Bay Packers, donated $112,000.

"In addition to rooting for Wisconsin's hometown team, Touchdowns for Charity gives us a chance to play an active role in feeding our community," said Louie Gentine, CEO of Sargento Foods. "The Hunger Task Force and Paul's Pantry aim to defeat hunger every day by providing high-need food items, such as low-sodium canned green beans and corn. We look forward to continuing to support their important efforts this football season."

Announcements about the program are made after every Packers touchdown at Lambeau Field during the regular season, where fans can get a taste of Sargento Foods with cheeseburgers featuring Sargento Deli Style Sliced Mild Cheddar Cheese and breaded natural Cheddar cheese curds. Updated totals throughout the season will be provided to fans on the Packers radio network and on a Packers.com touchdown ticker. Fans can also join the excitement with in-store product promotions at grocery retailers throughout Wisconsin.

Food Drive

Before kickoff Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, fans can meet and greet Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer William Henderson during the annual Touchdowns for Charity food drive at Lambeau Field. Fans can bring non-perishable food items to the Sargento tent near the Johnsonville Tailgate Village from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monetary donations will also be accepted to benefit Paul's Pantry and the Hunger Task Force.
