The Green Bay Packers have signed C/G Sean Rhyan to a contract extension. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Wednesday.
Rhyan, who was selected by the Packers in the third round (No. 92 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft out of UCLA, has appeared in 47 regular-season games with 28 starts and in four postseason contests with two starts in his first four seasons. He was one of only two Green Bay offensive linemen to appear in all 34 regular-season games over the last two seasons. Rhyan was part of an offensive line that helped the Packers rank in the top five in the NFL in 2024-25 in sacks allowed (No. 2, 51), sack percentage (No. 4, 5.0), yards per passing attempt (No. 3, 8.0) and rushing yards (No. 5, 133.3 ypg).
Rhyan started all 17 games at right guard in 2024 and was part of a line that helped clear the way for Green Bay's 2,496 rushing yards, the second most in a season in team history. Last season, he appeared in all 17 contests with 11 starts, opening the first four contests at RG and seven games at center (Weeks 11-17) as the Packers ranked tied for No. 7 in the NFL in sacks allowed (29) and No. 2 in third-down conversions (48.8 pct.).
