The Green Bay Packers signed DL Daylon Mack and RB Dexter Williams to the practice squad and released RB Damarea Crockett (duh-mar-ee-ay) and T/G Alex Light. The transactions were announced Thursday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Mack (6-1, 336), a second-year player out of Texas A&M, was originally selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round (No. 160 overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He appeared in one game for the Ravens in 2019 before being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. After being waived by Baltimore on Aug. 1, Mack spent some time with the Detroit Lions and New York Giants. As a senior in college, he was awarded the Most Improved Defensive Lineman award at the team's annual banquet after starting all 12 games and ranking No. 3 on the team with 5.5 sacks. Mack will wear No. 79 for the Packers.
