The Green Bay Packers signed DT Jordan Miller to the practice squad and released G/T Chris Scott and DE Drew Vanderlin from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

Miller, a 6-foot-1, 309-pound first-year player out of Southern University, spent the first 15 games of the 2011 season on Chicago's practice squad before being signed to the Bears' 53-man roster for the season finale (inactive). Miller was with the Bears during the 2012 preseason until he was released on Aug. 31, 2012. He entered the league with Chicago as a non-drafted free agent on July 27, 2011.

Miller played in 31 games in three seasons (2008-10) at Southern and finished his career with 90 tackles, 18 sacks and 30 tackles for loss. He will wear No. 91 for the Packers.
