The Green Bay Packers have signed LB Cyril Obiozor from the practice squad and placed LB Aaron Kampman on injured reserve. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the transactions Monday.

A 6-foot-4, 249-pound rookie from Texas A&M, Obiozor (pronounced SEER-uhl Oh-BEE-ah-ZER) signed with the Packers as a non-drafted free agent in May and has spent the first 13 weeks of the 2009 season on the Packers' practice squad.

He will wear No. 57.

Kampman played in and started nine games for the Packers this season.
