GREEN BAY – After trading back eight spots in the fifth round on Saturday, the Packers added an edge rusher.

Green Bay chose South Carolina's Kingsley Enagbare with the No. 179 overall pick, acquiring an extra seventh-round selection as well in the trade with Denver.

Enagbare (6-4, 258) played in 44 games in his college career, starting 21 as he became a full-time starter in 2020. Playing as a defensive end, he recorded 15 sacks among 24 tackles for loss in his career.

Enagbare was named first-team All-Southeastern Conference by the league's coaches in 2020 and was a second-team selection by the media. He had six sacks and three forced fumbles in just eight games that year.

In 2021, he was named first-team All-SEC and third-team All-America by Pro Football Focus. He was also a team captain for the Gamecocks.
