Jace Sternberger suspended for first two games of 2021 regular season

Packers tight end eligible to return to active roster on Sept. 21


Statement by an NFL spokesperson:

Jace Sternberger of the Green Bay Packers has been suspended without pay for the first two games of the 2021 regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program on Substances of Abuse. He will be able to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.

Sternberger will be eligible to return to the Packers' active roster on Tuesday, Sept. 21, following the team's Week 2 game vs. Detroit.
