Packers to host free pep rally for fans Jan. 10, at Lambeau Field's Oneida Nation Gate

Packers Ice Bowl alumni to attend rally and meet with fans

Packers fans are invited to bring their energy and excitement for Sunday's Packers-Cowboys playoff game to Lambeau Field a day early for a free pep rally on Saturday, Jan. 10.

The event will take place at 6 p.m. outside the Oneida Nation Gate. Attendees are asked to park on the north end of the stadium near the Bellin Health Gate, with access off Ridge Road, due to an event at the Resch Center.

To celebrate the first Packers-Cowboys playoff matchup at Lambeau Field since the Ice Bowl in 1967, several members of the Ice Bowl team will be in attendance at the rally, including Pro Football Hall of Famer Dave Robinson, and his teammates Donny Anderson, Chuck Mercein, Jerry Kramer and Boyd Dowler.

The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. on the east side of the stadium, where a stage will be set at the foot of the Oneida Nation Gate stairs. Large screens showing coverage of Saturday's divisional playoff games will be set as well. The pep rally will be modeled after Packers Everywhere pep rallies, which are hosted at select away game locations each season.

Prior to the pep rally, the Tundra Tailgate Zone (TTZ) will be open to fans from 3 to 6:30 p.m., where food and beverages provided by Saz's will be available for purchase. Inside the TTZ, televisions will also show coverage of Saturday's playoff matchups.

Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy will take part in the pre-gameday pep rally activities, as well as Wayne Larrivee, the radio voice of the Packers, who will emcee the event. The 1967 alumni will join Larrivee onstage to discuss Ice Bowl memories. Packers.com editor Vic Ketchman and Larrivee will then preview the next day's game to conclude the event. Following the rally, the alumni will sign autographs in the Packers Pro Shop.

"We are excited that fans have an opportunity to cheer on the Packers in a home playoff game again this year," said Gabrielle Dow, Packers vice president of marketing and fan engagement. "Our fans have helped to create an electric atmosphere at home all season, and with this pep rally, we can build on that energy for the game on Sunday."

The event will also feature several fan giveaways, and beverages will be available for fans to purchase throughout the pep rally.

In case of inclement weather, the entire program will be moved inside the TTZ.
