Santana Dotson went from last place to the Super Bowl

In this edition of Alumni Spotlight, Packers.com Senior Writer Mike Spofford sat down with former Packers DT Santana Dotson. Dotson talks about his journey to Green Bay from Tampa Bay, his role on a dominant defensive line, and memories of his favorite games.

Santana Dotson began his Packers career in 1996, signing with the team as a free agent from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The powerful and athletic defensive tackle had an immediate impact on the defense as he helped lead the team to consecutive NFC Championships in 1996-97 and a victory in Super Bowl XXXI. He recorded 26 sacks and appeared in 88 games in his six seasons (1996-2001) with the Packers.
