STARKS GOES THE DISTANCE

With the Packers leading 7-3 late in the first quarter, RB James Starks took a handoff to his left, ran into a wall of bodies, spun back to the right and found all kinds of open space. He rambled 65 yards in all for a touchdown, the longest run of his career. He finished the day with 10 carries for 112 yards, his first 100-yard rushing game since Week 2 of 2013.

JONES SCORES AGAIN

Packers WR James Jones only caught two passes in the game, but one of them was for a TD, his team-leading sixth of the season. Jones snagged an 8-yard scoring pass from QB Aaron Rodgers late in the third quarter to break a 17-all tie and put the Packers ahead for good.

RANDALL SAVES THE DAY

The game came down to one play – fourth-and-goal for San Diego from the Green Bay 3-yard line with the Packers leading 27-20. Chargers QB Philip Rivers tried a quick throw to the right flat to RB Danny Woodhead, but Packers rookie CB Damarious Randall dove in front to break it up, preserving Green Bay's sixth straight win.
