Winters and Rivera to be featured alumni this week

Former players at Lambeau Field Atrium Wednesday, Tundra Tailgate Zone and Legends Club Thursday

The Green Bay Packers are welcoming back featured alumni Frank Wintersand Marco Riverafor the Packers-Bears game on Thursday, Nov. 26. Leading up to the game, the alumni will be signing autographs and visiting with fans in the Lambeau Field Atrium on Wednesday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

The Tundra Tailgate Zone will also feature Winterson gameday* *from 6 to 7 p.m., where he will be visiting with fans and signing autographs. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.

Also on Thursday, Riverawill be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Clubon the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the 'Alumni Meet and Greet.'

Frank Winters, a hard-nosed athlete known for his freewheeling, "play to the whistle" style during his 11-year (1992-2002) Packers career, became one the NFL's top centers after spending his first five years in the NFL primarily as a long snapper. He earned USA Today All-Pro honors in 1999 and went to the Pro Bowl in 1996. Overall, he played in 156 of a possible 176 regular-season games for the Packers. He was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2008.

Marco Riverawas selected by the Packers in the sixth round of the 1996 draft and spent nine seasons with the team. He started seven consecutive seasons at guard, the second-longest streak for a guard in team history. Consistently paving the way for successful offenses, Rivera was selected to three Pro Bowls (2002-04). Rivera was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2011.
