The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears play on Sunday night, marking the 16th consecutive regular season that the Packers and Bears have squared off in a prime-time game.

  • Sunday will mark Game No. 204 in the NFL's oldest rivalry. The Packers hold a 102-95-6 edge in the series, which includes two playoff games (1-1).
  • Including the postseason, the Packers have won 20 of the last 23 meetings, including each of the last five.
  • Green Bay has won 11 of the last 13 meetings against the Bears at Lambeau Field, including a 41-25 victory last season.
  • The Packers have outscored Chicago, 361-195, in the last 13 home games, scoring 20-plus points in 11 of those contests.
  • It is the 10th time in the last 11 years that the Packers-Bears game at Lambeau Field will be played in prime time.
  • It is the Bears' second visit to Lambeau Field in December in the last three seasons (2019).
  • In the last five games against Chicago, the Packers have allowed 71 points (14.2 ppg), forced 10 turnovers and committed just one turnover (plus-nine).
  • The Packers have held the Bears to 28 points or less in each of the last 27 games (every regular-season game dating back to 2008). The last time Chicago scored more than 28 against Green Bay was in a 35-7 win on Dec. 23, 2007. Prior to that game, the Packers had held the Bears to 28 points or less in the previous 27 consecutive contests, so since 1994, the Packers have held the Bears to 28 points or less in 54 of the last 55 regular-season meetings.
  • With Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterback, Green Bay is 22-5 (including playoffs) against the Bears, with one loss coming in 2013 after Rodgers left the game with an injury after the first series.
  • In the 27 games against Chicago, Rodgers has an overall passer rating of 105.9.
  • Of the starters that have attempted 300-plus passes against the Bears (including playoffs), Rodgers' 105.9 passer rating is No. 1 in league history (No. 2 - Drew Brees, 98.2) according to StatsPass.
  • Rodgers has posted a 100-plus passer rating in 13 matchups (min. 15 pass att.) and the Packers are 13-0 in those contests. Rodgers has the most 100-plus passer-rating games (min. 15 pass att.) against the Bears since 1950 (stathead.com), passing Brett Favre (11) in Week 17 of the 2020 season.
  • Rodgers has registered passer ratings of 128.0, 132.2 and 147.9 against the Bears in his last three outings, giving him nine games with a passer rating of 125-plus against the Bears (min. 15 att.), the tied for the most by a QB against a single opponent (Rodgers, nine vs. Min.).
  • Rodgers has posted a 125-plus passer rating and multiple TD passes in each of his last three games against Chicago. Rodgers has accomplished that streak once before against the Bears (2014-15) and twice against Minnesota (2010-11, 2012-14). It is tied for the second-longest streak in league history against a single opponent behind only Drew Brees' four-game streak against the Raiders from 2005-16.
  • Rodgers has posted five consecutive zero-INT games against Chicago (min. 15 att.), which is tied for the longest streak by a QB against the Bears with Brees (2011-20) and Jon Kitna (2006-08).
  • Overall, Rodgers has thrown a team-record 57 TDs against Chicago.
  • WR Randall Cobb has nine receiving TDs against the Bears (the most he has against any one team), ranking No. 3 in Packers' history against Chicago (Don Hutson, 15 / Billy Howton, 10).
  • Among active NFL players, WRs Davante Adams (71) and Cobb (66) have the most career receptions vs. Chicago, the most career receiving yards (Cobb, 928; Adams, 903) and the most career receiving TDs (Cobb, nine; Adams, eight).

THE PACKERS-BEARS SERIES

  • One of the most storied rivalries in professional sports, the two franchises have met 203 times (regular season and playoffs) entering Sunday's game - the most in NFL history.

  • Have only met in the postseason twice, with the last meeting coming following the 2010 season. With a berth in Super Bowl XLV on the line, the Packers emerged victorious, 21-14, at Soldier Field.
  • With two wins over the Bears in 2017, Green Bay took and maintained the advantage in the series for the first time since leading 11-10-4 following the 1932 season.
  • Green Bay is 22-5 against Chicago with QB Aaron Rodgers as the starter.
