With the National Football League's regular season well underway, the Green Bay Packers are bringing the spirit of Lambeau Field and American football to Berlin, with a special "Packers Huddle" free fan gathering planned for the German capital in November. This will be the third and final Huddle event of the regular season for the Packers, following the successful initial event in Dublin in September and the upcoming event in London in October.
The final Packers Huddle event will be a two-day, free celebration in Berlin on 8-9 November, starting on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at LVL World of Gaming (Schützenstraße 73) and ending on Sunday with a Huddle "Tailgate" brunch from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at BRLO Charlottenburg (Giesebrechtstraße 15). Both events will feature special guest and Packers legend Jason Spitz, who will meet and take photos with fans.
Saturday, 8 November: The event at LVL World of Gaming will feature a friendly Madden NFL Tournament, a live podcast recording on site, a quiz show with prizes and a Packers Pro Shop retail pop-up store so fans can purchase authentic Packers merchandise directly from Lambeau Field. The event will also feature a Packers history documentary screening and special guest appearances.
Saturday's festivities will be emceed by Florian Ambrosius, moderator and media personality. Ambrosius is a German TV presenter who has worked extensively with RTL and currently serves as one of two hosts for RTL NFL Live and also as RTL's sideline reporter for NFL coverage, bringing his sports science background and expertise as a former American football player to the broadcasts. Ambrosius will entertain and welcome fans while leading interactive Packers-themed contests featuring prizes and giveaways. A local Berlin DJ also will provide music throughout the weekend for fans.
The event's friendly Madden NFL Tournament will invite fans of all levels to test their skills, with winners receiving Packers prizes. The grand prize winner will take home a year-long subscription to DAZN, one of the NFL's international streaming partners, to follow the NFL all season long. Additionally, fans can try complimentary samples of beloved tailgate foods from Wisconsin.
Sunday, 9 November: The fun will continue on the next day at BRLO Charolottenburg, inspired by the legendary tailgates of Lambeau Field with classic games including cornhole and jenga, plus complimentary face painting and samples of Wisconsin tailgate foods. Fans can kickstart their game day with the Packers over a themed brunch menu and specialty Berlin beer cocktails. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited, so early arrival is recommended.
Sunday's event will feature Dominik Eberle as emcee. Dominik Eberle is a German-born kicker from Fürth who moved to the United States at age 14 and set multiple records at Utah State University before entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent. Having played for five different NFL teams during his career, the Packers signed Eberle in February 2022 to compete for the kicking position behind veteran Mason Crosby.

The Packers Huddles are part of the team's efforts to build the brand globally in conjunction with the NFL's Global Markets Program, which is part of the NFL's long-term, strategic effort to drive fan growth beyond the U.S. The program awards clubs with marketing rights to countries around the world, allowing them to pursue programming, digital initiatives and other fan engagement opportunities that are consistent with what they can do in their home market.
About Jason Spitz: An offensive lineman, Spitz was selected by the Packers in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft out of the University of Louisville. During his five seasons with the Packers from 2006-10, Spitz played 65 games, starting in 45 of them. His finest season was in 2008, when he showcased his versatility and consistency by starting at three different positions and not missing a single snap. Spitz contributed to an offensive line that was instrumental in securing the Packers' 13th championship in 2010, when they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV (45). Spitz retired from the NFL in 2011, following a season with Jacksonville. He wore #72 for the Packers.
About the Green Bay Packers: The Green Bay Packers, an iconic professional American football team established in 1919, are the only community-owned team in U.S. professional sports, with more than half a million fans owning shares in the club. Remarkably, though the team plays in Green Bay, Wisconsin—by far the smallest city in the National Football League with just over 100,000 residents—the Packers are the league's most successful franchise, with 13 championships, including four Super Bowls.
The club's legendary home stadium, Lambeau Field, has sold out every game since 1960 and is celebrated as one of the best gameday experiences in sports. Generations of Packers season ticket holders are known to warmly welcome all fans to their pregame tailgate parties. The entire state of Wisconsin rallies behind the Packers, with fans proudly referring to themselves as "Cheeseheads" in a nod to the state's dairy heritage, made famous by the foam cheese hat now recognized worldwide as a symbol of the team. The Packers are more than an American football club; they are a beloved tradition that unites a community, a state and fans around the world.
