Lambeau Field ready for Sunday's Packers-Lions home opener

Saturday’s free Kickoff Weekend concert to feature The Black Crowes; Halftime on Sunday will welcome back more than 55 former Packers players for Alumni Weekend

Lambeau Field is set to welcome fans for Sunday afternoon's home opener between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions. Kickoff is at 3:25 p.m.

Kickoff Weekend festivities will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, with the Kickoff Weekend concert event, presented by SiriusXM, Ticketmaster, Polaris and Verizon. The concert will feature American rock band The Black Crowes outside Lambeau Field in the stadium's northwest side parking lot.

This weekend will celebrate the Packers' annual Alumni Weekend. More than 55 former Packers players from several eras of the team will be welcomed back on the field at halftime of Sunday's game. The organization will also pay special tribute to the 15th anniversary of Super Bowl XLV.

With the game being broadcast on CBS, Packers fans are invited to share their excitement live on the air during the network's live pregame shows, which will be broadcast from Harlan Plaza in front of the Lambeau Field Atrium starting at 9 a.m. The streaming-only show THE NFL TODAY+ will debut at 9 a.m., followed by THE NFL TODAY on CBS starting at 11 a.m. CT.

As a new season begins, fans should ensure the most current version of the Packers mobile app has been downloaded to their mobile device. Fans are reminded that Lambeau Field, all its businesses and stadium points of sale are cashless, including parking. Those who do not have credit/debit cards or contactless payment solutions may use a cash-to-card conversion station located in the Atrium.

Game attendees who have not visited Lambeau Field recently are encouraged to explore the upper and lower concourses to enjoy the variety of concession stands available, including efficient grab-and-go concessions and market-style stands, as well as the Miller Lite End Zone Bar, a climate-controlled bar space, on the north side of the stadium.

Packers Perks members attending Sunday's game are invited to visit the Packers Perks Donut House in the Lambeau Field Atrium to receive a free Kwik Trip Glazer donut while supplies last. Starting two hours prior to kickoff, Packers Perks members can use the tablets at the Donut House kiosk to input their email; when the machine recognizes the fan's email is associated with a Packers Perks account, a donut will be dispensed. Fans can sign up for the program and earn points at packersperks.com or on the Packers' mobile app.

Fireworks will be set off from the stadium roof one hour prior to kickoff to remind fans to head toward the stadium to be inside by kickoff. Fans entering all gates will receive a "Kickoff Weekend" cooling towel upon entering the stadium, courtesy of SiriusXM, Ticketmaster, Polaris and Verizon.

Prior to the national anthem, the Packers will recognize U.S. Army Specialist Ella Wynveen through Operation Fan Mail on the field. Country music singer-songwriter Ryan Jewel will sing the national anthem. A flyover is scheduled to be performed by a KC-135 aircraft of the 128th Air Refueling Wing, a unit of the Wisconsin Air National Guard based in Milwaukee. During halftime, the Mishicot Indians and St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs will compete in the High School Quarterback Challenge, presented by HPE/Camera Corner.

Fans are reminded of the stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear and are no larger than 12" by 6" by 12." All fans entering Lambeau Field on gamedays will use walk-through metal detectors. There is no exit/re-entry for afternoon games. The Lambeau Field parking lots will open Sunday at 11:25 a.m., with stadium gates opening at 1:25 p.m. The Atrium will be open to ticket holders at 11:25 a.m. via the American Family Insurance Gate. Guests with specials needs should note that wheelchair assistance is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with mobility challenges are encouraged to use their own wheelchairs.

Ticketed and non-ticketed fans alike can visit the Johnsonville Tailgate Village on the stadium's east side parking lot from 11:25 a.m. until one hour after the game ends. The JTV will feature live music from the band Star Six Nine, food, beverages and a festive tailgating atmosphere. Titletown Gameday Live presented by American Family Insurance will begin at 11:25 a.m., offering live music and festivities for fans of all ages to enjoy in Titletown prior to kickoff.
