Green Bay Packers CB Keisean Nixon has been named to the Pro Bowl Games, the league announced today. He replaces Seattle Seahawks CB Devon Witherspoon, who is unable to participate due to the Super Bowl.
This is the first career Pro Bowl selection for Nixon, who earned first-team All-Pro honors from The Associated Press in 2022-23 at kick returner. Nixon started a career-high 17 games for the Packers this season, recording 72 tackles (58 solo, No. 2 on the team), three tackles for a loss, an interception, a fumble recovery and a career-high 17 passes defensed (tied for No. 6 in the NFL). His team-high 17 passes defensed were the most by a Packer in a season since CB Jaire Alexander recorded 17 in 2019. Nixon, who signed with Green Bay as a free agent in 2022 after spending his first three seasons with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, is the only cornerback in the league to appear in all 17 games and post an INT in each of the last four seasons (2022-25).
