Green Bay agrees to terms with guard selected in sixth round of NFL Draft

The Green Bay Packers have signed G Jon Runyan. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Friday.

The Packers drafted Michigan offensive lineman Jon Runyan with the first of their three sixth-round selections (No. 192 overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft.

A two-time All-Big Ten honoree, Runyan appeared in 34 games with the Wolverines, with 26 career starts (25 at left tackle, one at right tackle). His father and namesake played in 207 NFL games with 192 starts from 1996-2009. He was a Pro Bowl right tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2002 and served in the U.S. House of Representatives.
