The Green Bay Packers have placed C/G Elgton Jenkins on injured reserve and signed LB Kristian Welch from the practice squad to the active roster. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Tuesday.

Welch, a sixth-year player out of the University of Iowa, has spent the regular season on the Packers' practice squad and active roster, appearing in two games. The Iola, Wis., native originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent and has played for the Packers (2023, 2025), Baltimore Ravens (2020-22, 2024) and Denver Broncos (2024), appearing in 74 regular-season games with two starts and recording 13 tackles (six solo) on defense and 28 tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams.
