The Green Bay Packers signed RB Tra Carson and WR Keon Hatcher to the practice squad and released RB Joel Bouagnon (jo-ELL bwon-nyo) from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

(tray) Carson, a 5-foot-11, 228-pound second-year player, was originally signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M on May 6, 2016. He spent almost all of his rookie season on the Bengals’ practice squad, was on injured reserve for the 2017 season and was waived/injured by the Bengals after Week 2 of this season. After beginning his career at Oregon (2011), Carson played three seasons for Texas A&M (2013-15), where he recorded 2,075 rushing yards (4.8 avg.) and 19 touchdowns in 36 games. He will wear No. 32 for the Packers.

Hatcher, a 6-foot-1, 212-pound first-year player, was originally signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Arkansas on May 5, 2017. He spent his entire rookie season on the Raiders’ practice squad. In 2018, he was released by Oakland after Week 1 and spent a brief time on the practice squad of the Detroit Lions. Hatcher played in 47 games with 28 starts for the Razorbacks over four seasons and finished his collegiate career ranked fourth in program history with 19 touchdown receptions. He will wear No. 13 for the Packers.
