The Green Bay Packers' 2025 NFL schedule will feature eight home games and nine road contests and is highlighted by four prime-time contests (subject to flexible scheduling). Of the 17 games on the schedule, nine will be against teams that made the playoffs last season, including four versus division champions.
The Packers will open the season at home for the first time since 2018 and only the third time in the last 13 seasons. Green Bay was the only team in the NFL to open the season on the road each of the last six years (2019-24). The Packers will host the Detroit Lions, marking the third time in the last four years that Green Bay has opened the season against a division foe. It will be the earliest regular-season game by date at Lambeau Field since the 2003 opener (Sept. 7).
Week 2 has a short turnaround as the Packers welcome the Washington Commanders to Lambeau Field for a Thursday night matchup. It is the first time since 2018 that Green Bay will play its first two games at home. The Packers go on the road for the first time in Week 3 when they travel to take on the Cleveland Browns, kicking off a stretch of three AFC North opponents in five games.
Green Bay faces a prime-time road test in Week 4 at Dallas against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Green Bay will be on the bye the following week, marking its earliest bye week since 2020 (Week 5). The Packers take on the Cincinnati Bengals at home in Week 6 before going west to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. Green Bay goes east in Week 8 to play a Sunday night game at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Packers follow up back-to-back road games with two straight home games, a Week 9 contest against the Carolina Panthers and then a Week 10 Monday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles, marking the third time playing the defending Super Bowl champion at home in the last four seasons (defeated the Los Angeles Rams in 2022 and Kansas City Chiefs in 2023). It is the 33rd straight season (1993-2025) that Green Bay will play on MNF. Week 11 brings another game against the NFC East as the Packers travel to play the New York Giants.
The next three games will come against the NFC North over a span of 15 days. After hosting the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12, the Packers will play at the Lions on Thanksgiving, marking the third straight year that Green Bay has played on Thanksgiving, including the second time over that span in Detroit. The Packers begin December at home against the Chicago Bears in Week 14. After a road game at the Denver Broncos in Week 15, Green Bay faces the Bears again in Week 16 at Chicago on a Saturday.
The final two regular-season games will be played on a Saturday or Sunday with times that are to be determined. Week 17 will see the Baltimore Ravens coming to Lambeau Field and Week 18 has the Packers traveling a state over to take on the Vikings. It is the first time since 2020 that the Packers are not finishing the season with back-to-back division contests and the first time since 2021 that Green Bay will finish the regular season on the road. The Packers and Vikings finish the regular season against each other for the first time since 2015 and in Minnesota for the first time since 2012.
With the three-game preseason schedule implemented in 2021, the Packers will alternate between hosting one and two preseason games each year. This year, the Packers will bookend their preseason at home with games against the New York Jets and Seattle Seahawks. In between, Green Bay will play at the Indianapolis Colts. One of the two home games is designated as the Packers Give Back Game, with a benefiting charity to be highlighted through the game and surrounding activities. More information about the nonprofit organization chosen for this year's Packers Give Back Game will be announced soon.
